Blackjack Card Values

In blackjack, the most important cards are cards with the numerical value of 10. Certain reasons explain that. One of the reasons behind the importance of cards with the value of 10 is that they are the majority in the deck of cards. 15 cards out of the total of 52 cards in the deck are 10's. Each of the other cards is four.

Another reason that accounts for the importance of the 10 is the fact that when you are dealt with 10 and then an ace, you have automatically gotten a point value of 21 also known as 21. Such point value has a payout of 3:2. This brightens the player's edge.

Another important card in blackjack, but not as important as 10, is 5. You can easily get a stiff hand when you are dealt with a five.
